A condom is a barrier device most commonly used during sexual intercourse to reduce the probability of pregnancy and spreading sexually transmitted diseases (STDs—such as gonorrhea, syphilis, and HIV). Condoms are one of the most popular methods of contraception in the world. CSM markets condoms made up of Latex and they are tested to be stretched in excess of 800% before breaking. At CSM, every latex condom is tested for holes with an electrical current. Once it is gone through this process, it is then rolled and packaged. In addition, a portion of each batch of condoms is subject to water leak and air burst testing.
